ABOUT THE RACE:

The Riverhill Run 5k and 1mile walk/run is held in the Spring of each year. The date of the race for 2008 is March 29th.

If you are interested in breaking a personal or state record, we offer certified races in both the 5k and 1mile distances. The courses are both fast and flat, out and back. There have been both personal and Alabama state records set in both distances at the race. Because of the number of non-racers and children who usually participate, we ask that runners allow those who are trying for a best time to start at the front of the line.

The Riverhill Run is also very kid-friendly and a great first (or fiftieth) run for the under-20 people you know. A large number of children participate each year from the local community and beyond.
