Mathematics

Riverhill’s math department places great emphasis on computation, problem solving, logical thinking, and connections to real life situations. There are labs to stimulate curiosity, tests to encourage goal setting, and daily homework to promote independence. Students in grades five through eight who possess an exceptional aptitude and a liking for math are enrolled in advanced classes. Algebra I is offered for high school credit in the eighth grade for those who are ready for the challenge.
