Mathematics

Riverhill’s math department places emphasis on computation, problem solving, logical thinking, and connections to real-life situations. Riverhill uses labs to stimulate curiosity, tests to encourage goal setting, and daily homework to promote independence. Students in grades 5-6 who possess an exceptional aptitude and a love of math are enrolled in advanced classes.
